We like the quiet Sant Antoni neighborhood too – it’s an easy walk to bustling Plaça de Catalunya, to the charms of El Raval, and to up-and-coming Poble Sec, while remaining – by Barcelona standards – away from the tourist hordes. Win!

Hotel Omm is the Love It There* go-to hotel in Barcelona. The location, just off the Passeig de Gràcia, couldn’t be better. The sleek design is just so. Service is spot-on. And a Michelin star restaurant – Roca Moo – means you don’t actually have to leave the premises for some fancy dining. Not cheap, but worth the dosh.
